guys, is it at all possible to increase the cache length? When i try and watch a trailer, it's quite choppy but the audio is fine. I'm guessing it's because the connection didn't manage to cache enough.

    Cheers

I'm having the exact same issue, happens in both myTrailers and myMusicVideos. Have a 20mb ADSL line, so I dont think thats the problem.

    Any tips?

Since these streaming videos come from Yahoo. Can you (on the same machine) open a browser window and view the streaming video? If so, how does it compare? Please note what it speed it is playing at in the browser window. In the browser window (or are you playing full screen)are you using Windows Media? One last question: are you playing in MP fullscreen?

I also have this problem with a 10mbit cable connection. If I go to the same video in IE, it seems to stream OK.

    WebKnight,
Are you using the music video plugin from svn?

No, just the "standalone" one :)

Believe the problem lies elsewhere, since I have the same problem with myTrailers.

my connection is 15,000kbps so i don't think it's my connection.

Funny how it's the ones with the fast connections that have the problems :p

Anyway to set a standard aspect ratio for these trailers other than the current one? I would love if you could choose "stretched" or "14/9" for all trailers.

Or is it possible to set a default aspect ratio in WMP, as MP uses it to stream the trailers?

What would cause the trailers to play in black and white? I've tried switching skins, restart MP, restarting computer and they continue to play in B&W.

I found a bug, I think I reported it once, but it maybe buried in previous pages. Anyway, the problem is when you start the trailer then go back to look around, in the small view the name of the movie doesn't show, but the stream does. It is really more annoying than a bug. But I bring it up since the plugin MusicVideos doesn't have this problem. Both of the plugins are displaying streams from Yahoo but only the MusicVideo plugin shows the correct info under the small window. It is nice that the MusicVideo plugin has a Fullscreen OSD (but it has the same bug - does not show the artist - song, but it shows the stream). It is just little inconsistancies it woul dbe nice to have fixed to have a professional looking system to show off. What happens now is people ask: "what is that gobbledee-gook scrolling across there?" I have to explain that it is the streaming information for the computer. If it can't be easily fixed, why not just not display it?

I agree, the same happens with radio stations, the url of the radio stream is shows and it looks very ugly
