just delete your database and start again
    don't import anything
just use the parsing window to check file naming formats
make sure each file is parsed correctly
rename any file that isn't parsed correctly

OK. So I did that again. Unfortunately, it is doing the same as before. I haven't imported anything since the first time. When I click the parsing refresh button, the only thing that shows up is the 2nd season stuff, not the first season. And I should see the first season stuff, correct????

    Change this
    Code:
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\AUDIO_TS
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VIDEO_TS
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.BUP
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB

    Into this
    Code:
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VIDEO_TS.BUP
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VTS_01_0.BUP
    Z:\TV Series\What's New Scooby-Doo\Season 1\What's New Scooby-Doo.S01E08\VTS_01_1.VOB

if that doesn't work can you rename the vob file?

I have never worked with that structure before, maybe someone else can help you.

oh if season 1 & season 2 are named identical and it's not parsing season 1 then you havnt deleted the database properly?

Season 1 and Season 2 have the same naming convention. Well I am wondering if there is a backup of the database or something. The reason I ask, is because I went in and deleted it again. I then restarted the computer, and before even going into the mediaportal configuration, I went back to the folder for the databases, and it was back and the file was the same size. So this is what I am doing to try to delete the database:

    1) Closed out of Mediaportal Configuration all together
    2) Went to Program Data / Team Media Portal / Media Portal / Databases / and deleted the MY TV Database that is there, by holding the shift key and hitting delete.
    3) Restarted the computer
    4) Went back to Program Data / Team Media Portal ... and it was back with the same file size.

Is this not the way to delete the database?

Thanks again for all your help, I really do appreciate it.

OK. I will grab a screen shot shortly. I have to put the kids down. I can tell you though, In you check the table below.... window you have all your 24 episodes there. In my window I only have the season 2 episode (twice). It isn't even showing the season 1 stuff. That is why I am confused. I will grab a screen shot shortly and show you. Otherwise, I might try and delete the whole season 1 and re-rip I guess - but not sure that is really going to do much, and is a lot of time. But anything is worth a shot at this point.

Well the files are on my windows home server, so I will try and figure out how to grab those for you, since I can not use unc paths in the cmd tool. As soon as I figure it out, I will post the results back here.

I know you are passed this issue, but it is weird you ran into it.

    WinKey+R -> cmd /c dir "\\SERVER_NAME\SHARE_NAME" /b/ogn/s > "%HomeDrive%%HomePath%\Desktop\Dir_List.txt"

Works fine for me on WinXP, Vista and Win7 and places a "Dir_List.txt" file on my dekstop with the right contents.

    kiwijunglist,

Here is my picture showing the results of the parsing test. As you can see it isn't pulling in the season 1 stuff. I guess I will look for some option that would have hidden it. I am not sure.

what is the full filename for the two files in red?
maybe it is not parsing because you havn't added the video extension so it doesn't think that they are video files?
