Yeah, MP 2.2 is not supported anymore, and hasnt been for a while.

So you have a choice to make, either keep MP 2.2 and use an old TVSeries plugin (as a little hint, older releases of the plugin will (planned) ceace functioning alltogether even with a compatible MP version in the not too distante future), or upgrade to MP 2.3 RC2 and use the new plugin version, which has less bugs and more features. If you decide to do the latter, make sure you either use the latest SVN revision of the tv-series plugin for some compatibility upgrades, or wait for the 1.3 release which isn't far off.

no problem, I understand you can't possibly keep it compatibel with older versions for ever and ever ;-)
:edit: although, if i may say so out of user-view, i don't think you should stop support for a stable version, as long as there isn't a new final stable version available (currently only RC's available)... but I still forgive you ;-D you make this in your free time [I really respect that] and you probably don't want to lose time with writing code for older versions :edit:

I've tried upgrading to MP 2.3 RC2, but as I said, it's really (really really) slow.
It takes up to one minute just to access My Movies, and sometimes it just crashes. Same situation with My Music.
Even if I rebuild the whole database, it's still slow.
I think I'll sit this one out and wait for MP 2.3 final

I didn't say that ;-) Anyways, it'll be a couple of months or so, 2.3 final should be out by then.

This is what I got:

all options under the tab "import settings" are untouched
those red selections probably mean the episode isn't recognized?

The red sections in the second screen-dump are episodes that aren't parsing correctly and so won't show up. You will either need to change the filename for them, or create/edit one of the parsing rules so they process properly. Editing the filename would probably be easier as hopefully there aren't too many of them (I get a bit confused with the complex parsing expressions).

With 24, it appears to be parsing the episodes fine, however, in the first image, it doesn't have the correct seriesID. You could try deleting 24 from the tree in the config page and do another import and see if that fixes it. Otherwise, you may need to manually edit the DB and put the correct seriesID in for 24 in the (I think) the online_series table.
