Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

    episode numbering tv.com vs episodeworld

    Hi.
I just found out that episodeworld starts on episode 1 on every new season while tv.com dont start over at 1.

Maybe this pluging can be changed to match the "#" instead of the "Episode number" in episodeworld? Or have the option at least.

Or else I have to rename every single file I have... :-/

My files are number in this way: S<season>E<episode>
Lots of people commented in this thread that they have it that way or similar (like <season>x<episode>). Only few of the users of this plugin seem to have the files number with a running number across all seasons of a particular show.

I don't think we need to discuss something that can be changed by renaming your files.

IMO the focus should be on devoloping the manual import and optimizing the gui.

I personally renamed all my files to make the import more fluent. It took some time but it's easy with the right application. (AF5 Rename).

I agree, it's the only way to make it work fine and that's what i did for my new imports
    Thanks for the name application.

I spend a lot of time renaming my files, too. And to be honest, I don't want to do it again if I don't have to.

Certainly that should be the focus.

It is the best plugin I have seen so far - let's help Salty to make it even better. :)

    Still alive... Just

    Hey all,

I'll be back into development this weekend. My fingers got infected and I've lots of fun with that the past few weeks. I've been keeping an eye on everything that's been said and I'll get it all implemented as soon as I feel up to it.

    For now,

Rename your eps to conventional formats, add new series to EpisodeWorld and for everyone's sake stop watching tv shows that have an apostrophe in the title! ;)
