    Hi Deda

Do not want to create another thread, as title of this one seems appropriate ;)

Got a problem, in Title view, so using db, it takes 10 seconds on entering yVideo's before anything appears, seems from logs mediainfo.dll is the culprit, scanning everytime I access myvid's, should this be happening.

ps, tried both upgrade and clean install of MP1.3.0alpha, using folder with 321 movies inside, logs attached.

Removed mediainfo from program directory and problem goes away ;)

No, it should not. Also, when minifo is read [on play or grabbers scan] (if it not exists in vbd), it is stored in vbd and will never be scanned by myvids anymore (except manual minfo update in share view).

Just to ask, this is an old videodatabase used first time in 1.3.0 or new installation?

MyVideos medianfo scan should start always in log like this:

    [MPMain(10)]: VideoDatabase media info file:.................

Dunno what triggers mediainfo scan in your log, especially in title view where files are not relevant beacuse all on screen comes from videodatabase and are not filebased like in shareview

Cleaned out database\fanart\thumbs prior to scan.

OK, think I have a problem with mediainfo.dll, it will not read my mkv mpeg files inside MP-TVSeries plugin neither, showing no time length or format, which it does for MyVids.
Using mediainfogui,, that can read the files fine, showing both aspect, video size, bitrate and format correctly.

Had a original videoredo mpeg2 file, dropped that into place and mediainfo.dll worked fine, so looks like mpeg2\mp3 inside mkv container causes a problem all round, but do not remember having this with MP1.2.3, so going to revert to that version of mediainfo as a test.

edit. That version also did not read video details, so will open a discussion in new thread about this.

Ok, but I'm still curious what started to scan video files media info when you open MyVideos title view. There is no chance that myVids will do that on that screen (except if something slips to me in code).
I tried with deleting all media info in the database and movies was never scanned for media info on Title screen open or in share view, just mInfo icons is not visible anymore)

Now is patch V4 which includes all previous things +

    * nfo export in Movie info screen (via context menu)
    * nfo export on selected movie in titles views (via context menu)
    * export all movies to nfo files in titles views (via context menu)
(covers and fanart also will be exported)

    ScreenShot011.jpg
    ScreenShot012.jpg
    * on scan, filename is visible in case of movie conflict and as default search string (in case of DVDs or BDs their folder name is visible and not VIDEO_TS.IFO or index.bdmv)

Filename will be visible without extension and full path.

Ofc, backup all files before replacing them.
Language XML also needs to be replaced otherwise you will see blanks instead of strings in dialogs or menus.

    Hi Deda

Just a bit of feedback, removed all mpeg2 files that are in mkv container and no problems, definitely a mediainfo issue, sorry for bothering you, just need to get that side working and save some hassle in the future for all, so long as we all know this issue then great.

    Regards

    hi
I have ripped BDs in folders. And when i try to scan them it seaches for "id" or index.bdmv. Is there any way to make it seach for foldername?
I would also love auto scanning of selected folders
    peace
ps i luv the new bd feature :)
