Native Blu-ray player does not play HD audio (1 Viewer)

Based on your directions, I managed to get the native player to play HD audio. The problem was / is not that it does not do so but rather the chosen default audio track -
The native player chooses a 2-channel AC3 track as default while BD handler chooses the DTS-HD track by default.
Note that in MP configuration, under blu-ray, I have tried all options and it is currently set to DTS-HD.
How do I get the native player to choose the 'best' audio track as default (as BD handler does)?
Thanks.

There is currenly no audio track selection logic based on the stream quality.
but the audio track setting from Bluray settings is respected when loading bluray stream?

In title mode it might be, not sure what @Sebastii / @Manfred has implemented on C# side. In menu mode all the stream changes are driven by the HDVM / libbluray / user interaction in menus.

Is there a plan to add "audio track selection logic based on the stream quality"?
Note that based on my experience, audio track setting from Blu-ray settings is NOT respected...

This forces me to use BD handler plugin rather than the native player...

For title mode yes, at some point (maybe after BD-J support has been done). For menu mode, no.

Manfred implement it and yes, it should be handled correctly in title mode only.

    Any update on your issue?

    MKV using DTS-HD works flawlessly.
DTS-HD blueray does not work with native player. It automatically chooses 2 Channel audio, when I switch DTS-HD it gets messed up.

    Thanks.
