Burn after reading: Menu works now, but I have audio issues. I can't hear audio in the menu or when I play the movie via Menu. If play the movie in Title-mode, video and audio work OK. It seems to select a different video and audio decoder for Menu mode and Title Mode.

Audio might be some issue with the LAV audio decoder - I'll have to try to debug that issue a bit. I didn't have audio either in that BD in menu.

Not audio decoder's fault - works correctly if played in graphedit (using the menu's m2ts file).

Did you test with fill BD or with the cut off sample?

I always test with the original purchased disc.

This is probably a lib issue. Do you get following error in the log with the full BD disk?

Indeed, I get the same error with the full disc.

It would be nice to have a sample of this BD.

I'm currently making a sample of Bangkok Dangerous. I will upload later today.

There really is something fishy going on with the Bangkok Dangerous. I was able to skip through the trailers with the "chapter skip" button on a few occasions, with the sample disc and the full disc and I was able to get to the main menu and everything worked like a charm. A few times, after skipping to another trailer, I did not get any sound, but video was still working. It was using LAV video decoder and MPC - MPA decoder filter the whole time.

I'm currently uploading the sample. I left all the trailers untouched, just the main movie is stumped. See, if you can replicate this with your computer. I always wait, until the nice polarbear has gone off the screen and a text appears telling that "you can skip using the chapter skip button or press menu", before I start skipping :D

    Edit: Upload complete.

Does the seeking (skipping) work if you do it slowly (one skip per 3 seconds for example)? There is a known deadlock on when using sip steps of chapter changes "too" quickly.

It worked here at least :)

It doesn't seem to matter, how fast or slow I skip. This behaviour is so random that I can't even replicate it, if I try to skip in a spot that previously froze the trailer. And if you can't get it to freeze even once, then I'm out of luck :D But like I said, skipping straight to the menu works everytime, so I'm not worried about it.

    - Is the 1st skip ever freezing?
    - Is it the 8 minute trailer "collection" we are talking about?

It probably is the seeking / chapter change deadlock we are seeing here - a generic issue so it should happen on every single BD.

    Yes.

Yes. The trailers are individual videofiles, although it shows as a single 8-minute collection, when pressing "info"

Indeed. I just did some skipping test and I was not able to get it to freeze. Too random.

    Just a question:

Of which MP version is the latest build?

    1.2.2?

    Cheers,
