Netflix for OnlineVideos (5 Viewers)

    I've fixed the problems with browsing Netflix Original Series, but if you would like to use the fix you need to use OnlineVideos 2.0 Beta Test. Updated dll in post #21.
    Please note, this is a beta test version of OnlineVideos, read the opening post of the thread and the instructions of post #21!

    If you don't want to use a beta version, find it to cumbersome or just want to wait for the official release you can use this workaround:
    • Assumes you watch the episodes in order
    • Add the series you want to watch to My List (through context menu of the series or through netflix.com)
    • Enable watch now for My List in the online videos netflix settings
    • Watch the series from My List
    @avee I could not repeat your search problems. If you search for something common like "the" or "a" or maybe "die", "das", "der", "le" or "la" depending on language, do you not get any results from the search?

    Yep, that worked. I guess my previous searches were too specific, or I was being too optimistic about what Netflix has on offer. Lots of hit movies from the past simply not there. Excuse me for raising the alarm.

    Hi Ministerk,

    i updated today online video to final version 2.
    I can now browse original series like other ones.
    The problem is that i can not Watch anymore, when trying to, i just get a white screen fro 1 or 2 seconds then comes back to browsing...
    I tried to clean IE, but no more luck.

    Any idea ?

    edit : i forgot to say that i tested dirtectly on Windows and it works perfectly !

    This looks like a recurring problem (beta and release).
    Can you please try this:
    • Uninstall with MediaPortal Extension Manager, keep your settings
    • Clean MPEM cache (do it from the menu in MPEM)
    • Goto the plugins directory and remove all traces of OnlineVideos (C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows on Win x64)
    • Download the mpe1 and install again (OnlineVideos2.0.0.0.mpe1)
    Hope this helps, otherwise report again with full logs.

    Thanks for such a quick reply, i'll try and tell you.
    If this does not work: I've updated the opening post on how to collect logs in a proper way (not only use watch dog, some configuration needed for browser player)
