Neues Plugin: LightsOut Connector (1 Viewer)

Hallo!

Ich habe soeben mein LightsOut Connector Plugin auf SourceForge hochgeladen und wer möchte, angesprochen sind in erster Linie MediaPortal und Windows Home Server Benutzer, darf dieses Plugin gerne einsetzen.

Beschreibung:

Das LightsOut Connector Plugin kopiert in periodischen Abständen die im MediaPortal geplanten Aufnahmen in den LightsOut Kalender, um zu verhindern, dass der Windows Home Server während einer laufenden Aufnahme in den Standby oder Ruhezustand geht.

Screenshots, sowie Informationen zur Installation und Konfiguration finden sich auf der SourceForge "LightsOut Connector" Seite.

Vorrausetzungen:

MediaPortal 1.2, 1.3 oder 1.4.
Windows Home Server
LighsOut

Download:

Die Version 1.2* ist für MediaPortal 1.2 und 1.3.
Die Version 1.4* ist für MediaPortal 1.4. Aufgrund einer neuen Log4net.dll musste ich die Entwicklung des Plugins ab MP 1.4 splitten.

Hi,

unfortunately the tool does not work for me.
I am using Larry's tool today and that works fine.
When I activate the plug in however, I get the attached error message. After OK, setup TV just closes..... I did not install anything into custom directories
Also attached TV.log, but I do not believe there is anything in it

Any Idea what might be wrong?

It appears as if MediaPortal 1.2.2 is the problem why the LightsOut Connector plug-in does not start properly. The plug-in references "Gentle.Common" and "Gentle.Framework" version 1.5.0.29111. Unfortunately I do not have any idea how to solve that issue right now. The plug-in is the first plug-in that I developed for MediaPortal and hence there are still some white spots requiring to be filled with information.

I am going to contact the MediaPortal developers at the weekend and ask for help. I will let you know when there is a new version available.

I switched back to Larry's tool wich is easy, I just needed to start it again
However would really appreciate a plug-in based solution like yours!

Im running on 1.2.2 without any errors. So you could try to STOP the TVservice before you are going to install.

tried once again stopping TV Service before installation -- did not do the trick

May you please send the following DLLs to me, as I want to do some test on my system:

Gentle.Common.dll
Gentle.Framework.dll

Both DLLs should be stored in directory:

%programfiles%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\

Das Tool funktioniert bei mir mit 1.2.1 einwandfrei. Werde nachher mal ein update auf die 1.2.2 machen und schauen ob dann immer noch alles problemlos läuft.
