A clerification might be in order. I can't se any subs in that recording
Thanks for providing the test .ts file. I'll try to have a look later on today what's causing the issue.

I'm submitting a recording a made from canal + wich should have several subtitles stream. Since I have no file server of my own I had to use a comersial one. I hope you will wait for the download to start.

One more bug-report:
When viewing TV and pausing for ~10 minutes or more the playback fails to resume correctly. Logs attached. Note: Program did not contain subtitles.

Tonight I've been watching a couple of live broadcasts and recordings, and I sometimes get garbled frames (looks like bad reception, but it is not), it lasts many seconds and are typically not seen when seeking back and watching the part again. I guess there is some kind of data corruption going on related to the subtitle filter.

Hi
I have tried to register the new subtitle filter, but now Mediaportal won't work. I have followed the instruction, but now I get this exception log:
ExceptionType: System.ArgumentException
Message: Værdien falder ikke inden for det forventede område.
Source: mscorlib
Stack trace:
ved System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes.IRunningObjectTable.Revoke(Int32 dwRegister)
ved DirectShowLib.DsROTEntry.Dispose()
ved DirectShowLib.DsROTEntry.Finalize()
Any suggestions?

Sorry - my mistake. I haven't noticed, that the subtitle entry was already made in Mediaportal.xml.
Have tested the subtitle filter now but like other have experienced it hangs when switching channels. The timing seems to work fine though.

Good to hear that the timing is working as it was the main issue with the previous filter..

Looks like the subtitle packets are arriving too late to the subtitle filter. No ideas currently why it's happening.
Unfortunately, I don't see perfect timing. I am currently uploading a sample to the ftp "TV 2 Denmark (delayed subs).ts", where minor delays are present (at least when I view the recording). This sample is well suited to show the delays, but I generally see these delays both in recordings and timeshifted tv (although the delays don't bother me much).

Looks like the subtitle data is arriving too late to the subtitle filter. Currently I don't have any clues why it might be happening. Previously there was a bug in the subtitle filters PES decoder, but it shouldn't be causing any troubke anymore.

Hmpf, looks like it's happening with other .ts samples as well. I'll try to release a new binaries for TsReader.ax and DVBSub2.ax this morning (with some important fixes). After that I'll try to see if I manage to find out what's delaying those PES packets to be ready.
