I think the "Playlists" button available everywhere in the settings is the main reason for this issue. Lots of people don't see any changes on the left side of the screen most of the time, so they won't look there at all. If there normally is nothing and suddenly something is appearing there this will gain attention to this spot, I'm sure. Also I never had that issue (the menu structure in settings is the same since the very first beginning of my MP2 "career") I can see why newbies may have issues finding this. Imho the "playlists" button is not necessary in every settings screen. When you in one of the media areas it is useful and needed, but in settings???
