[NEW] MyFilms v4.7.9a (2 Viewers)

z3us - which skin? Take your pick! I have tried Blue3, Blue3++, Blue3 Retro, Bleazel, PureVision. I can't make it work with any of them.

Here is the mesfilms.xml I modified for Blue3, from the original MP v1.0 stable release, not SVN.

The ONLY change I have made is to switch Year to Runtime (#duree) and Genre to Country (#pays).

You can see the results in the attached screenshot in the lower left.

The odd thing is, once you go to the details screen and back to the main screen, it displays as it should.

So I think Joz is right that the variables are just not being transferred until mesfilmsdetails.xml is invoked.

No way with the actual plugin delivered :sorry:
In the future release comming soon (v4.8.0) all database fields"ll be loaded and available for displaying in main and detailed screen (with same name that the db fields). However skins file must be adapted to be compatible withe that new version. I have to adapt some of them.

zebons. That means I can expand my Blue3++ detailticker. Would be nice

Looking forward to it. If you need some help skin ning I can take some of it of your hands if you want to. I'm kinda starting to know more and more about skinning (mostly by trial and error) and I think I'm quite capable now to do the must stuff right.

I have a small problem
when I have two movies and the initial part of the title is the same
for example:
-I Fantastici 4
-I Fantastici 4 e silver surfer

the film with the name in common does not start
-I Fantastici 4

so for other movies

Do you give the filename info for yours movies in your DB or is it a problem xhen the plugin search itself the filename withe the Title name ?
In tha case, can you give the EXCACT title name and filename of your movie ?

ok, if I update the film begins
but for the other films do not have to click the update button

Fanart management... If you have many pictures, you can define which one to define as fanart

In some films I have 2 or more pictures in the fanart folder, named:
title.jpg
title1.jpg
title2.jpg
...
but only title.jpg is showed as fanart. In detailed screen, I cant select wich one I want. How is this feature supposed to work? Should MyFilms display randomly one of the pictures?

There is only one picture as fanart stored with title name in the 'Fanart Picture path' field for each movies, you can display others as additional pictures for that give the correct path in your setup for 'Additional Picture Path (IMG) '. You can display those pictures found by clicking on he button under the movie's thumb and then select the displayed picture as fanart with the appropriate function in the update menu.

I'm having the following problem: I've installed the MyFilms plugin, but found out it didn't fit my needs. However, after uninstalling the plugin, I cannot find the standard My Films window plugin anywhere?

Any thoughts?
