Atmoduino project is now updated, the Leds will now turn off correctly when stopping playback.
You need to untick the Shutdown color option in Atmowin (listed in updated Wiki) as well.
For the techies:

The bug was that the led state would get "stuck", added a FastSPI.stop command and Clear to resolve this.

Made a Atmolight version for Mediaportal 1.3.0 Alpha, only the core.dll is modified.
Attached are the new files, used the diff files from the SVN to modify the core.dll.

/edit: fixed channel version is marked as incompatible atm, not sure why but will check it out.
No source for the fixed-channel version can be located on the SVN , so can't really debug the problem without knowing what was altered

i copied the files into my MP folder but in configuration the atmolight plugin is still marked as incompatible.?
Does your plugin include the manual enable/disable function (via hot key) for ambilight? I just ask because your Atmolight.dll and Interop.AtmoWinRemoteControl.dll are way smaller than my last used files from the version Angie05 uploaded.

EDIT: Ok its working inside MP, but inside the configuration its still marked as incompatible

That's strange, just did a clean copy of the new files (attached above) and it showed up as compatible in the MP config over here.
Could be that some files are smaller then other releases because I got those from the SVN repository (which is a little dated it seems) but you basically only need the new core.dll

HELP: I used the plugin for MP 1.3 and it works great, but then i noticed that the colors where reversed.
When i try the fixedChannels version my movie playback stutters a lot!!!
I liked the first verison better because that one also enabled the LEDs when starting a movie, with the 3DSBS fixedChannels version i need to enabled them manually with the stop button menu.
Is it possible to build an improved version of the fixedChannels that delivers smooth playback and enables the LEDs without using the stop menu?

I love the work you do because this plugin makes watching movies a great sensation!!!

@gverdellen:

go to atmolight plugin setup
don't set the checkbox "LEDs off on MP start" checked = no need to start the leds manually (Don't worry the leds are not always on and yes the text is misleading. Next version text is "LEDs off on media start" or "Manual Mode" or something like that.)
make sure to select "MP live-view" under Video/TV/recordings = no more stutters

there you have your self compiled improved version ...
