Maybe you need to copy the skin files under b3 if you use 1.0.

I am new to MP and using 1.0 Release.
I get the following error in the log:

SKIN: Missing C:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\Blue3\mydboxmain.xml

Please can some one explain me what I have to copy where. I can't find any file with this name on my hdd.

Ok found it. I installed the version per MPI Installer after web update and it works now.

I have quickly hacked a wide skin for the main screen.
It is for Blue3Wide skin.
Maybe it's useful for some one.

hi to all. i managed to watch some channels via the MP and the mydreambox plugin but,i can not see all channels?i can "zap" them, but still no image.all are in the same folder.any guess???

try to look in to the log's maybe it gives you an conclusion what is going on.

no auto log file is being created, couse MP shuts down properly.
do i need a special edition driver, or everything is supplied with MP??

you don't need any driver.
What do you mean with no auto log is being created.
Please look to "documents and settings\all users\application data\team mediaportal\mediaportal\log"
there are the files MediaPortal.log and MyDbox.log.

this is my log file i guess.is there a "best" vlc version in order to use?i ve tried 0.8.6h but having problems.
And BTW, i dont have my dreambox 500s directly connected to pc,its via router and i am using Gemini
