Started working for me that same night as well. Any ideas what it was? I still assume a TVDB.com issue.

Still a problem

Not fixed everywhere, it seems. I was aobut to delete my database when I decided to check here. Tried deleting the specific show and re-adding it... nope. If it -is- a problem with thetvdb.com then it shouldn't really be necessary to make any changes to our databases, right?

lost,
dirty jobs,
extreme engineering,
dexter,
familiy guy
and list goes on and on..

every image downloaded from thetvdb is only 1k in size and empty.

anyone has an idea if thetvdb is checking this problem?

This might be a problem with your environment, have you got any software blocking banner downloads?

Using kaspersly antivirus,
can it be that he's blocking the download??

There's an option in MyTVSeries called "download blank banners" or something like that, make sure that isn't checked.

it's working now,
apparntly kaspesky av was blocking the downloads... so i've fixed that.

i'm also a user of Kaspersky, could you tell me which option you chose to allow the banners etc to download, i have white listed 'thetvdb.com' site for banners, but thats only in my internet browser.

If you'd mind helping out i'd be greatful.



EDIT: Weird, managed it in the end, but you have to delete the database and start from scratch once you've allowed it.

i did it every time and tested with all the options on the network/application blocking.
