have a look at "BasicHome.xml" in the ProjectX skin -> it's doing what you want.

if you want to test it you have to enable "Basic Homescreen" in general settings (MP Configuration)...

Please use the default mp skin (MCE).

This is the most beautiful skin I ever seen to MP, great work so far. With a skin like this, Media Portal easy can compete Microsoft's Media Center software.

I think the skin would come in 2 versions:

1. With the 0.2.0.0 release, without advanced animations.

2. With full XAML animation support when MP is ready for that technology.

I made this skin in 45 minutes(photoshop), it's only for my own learn. Non official. Need understand the skin structure.

Now i'm developing a skin without using public pictures that i cant public now because its for private usage and th MP community.

If the skin are finished or beta the mp users can be download.
