This is the most beautiful skin I ever seen to MP, great work so far. With a skin like this, Media Portal easy can compete Microsoft's Media Center software.

I think the skin would come in 2 versions:

1. With the 0.2.0.0 release, without advanced animations.

2. With full XAML animation support when MP is ready for that technology.


Can't wait to see more screenshots! Great work!

Very very true, Harley, Mofux, MrMario and co will all back that up. Creating a skin looks like a walk in the park before you start.

WPF however does make it considerably easier to create new control types that make such interfaces feasible, and creating those controls is no longer solely the domain of the programmer so graphics guys and gals can let their imagination run free almost to the same extent as they can within their graphics apps.

Vanessa how are your Adobe Illustrator skills? If they are on a par with your PS skills then I urge you to use AI since vectors are more performant (assuming M$ has implemented vector support the sensible way), consume less memory but best of all, vector graphics scale perfectly!!!

Oh and the mockups look fantastic!

Yes i know that MP are OpenSource and i know too that some people sell MP on eBay.
