I can't find any problem on line 178. The problem with thetvdb is:
[Fri Oct 5 23:50:14 2012] -die verschwörer- =~ -Verschwörer- =~ -verschwörer- => 4

So you have "die verschwörer" in your EPG and thetvdb lists; verschwörer.

sorry, this was misleading - I did not mean line 178 of the logfile. I meant the string "line 178" as the full error message is "Can't use a stale reference as a HASH at Backend/TVDB.pm line 178"

hehe ;-) but i had to reproduce the issue so i need to know what is instead in the hash. SO i need the series and title where this happens.

Stefan, the link above immediately tried to install several trojans and viruses!!! (one is the so called "GVU Virus" / "GVU Trojaner" - the website tried to deploy a malicous PDF file on my system)

Never seen viruses on mediafire? It's a stable service since years to me like dropbox. Nor google chrome nor my virusscanner shows a warning.

I guess it was not mediafire itself but one (or more) of the random advertisements on this page. Right after klicking the link an PDF opened and then my AV already blocked this PDF / webpage.

Secondly I used IE - although I have the latest version with all current patches it might be that they used an unknown exploit which does not work when using Chrome.

Stefan, as expected clicking the download button on mediafire silently opens a second window in the background hwich calls adsupply.com which redirects to a random page. Tested a few times - some of these ad pages contain viruses / trojans.

Downloaded the file you provided and did a test - same error. Log file attched, series this time was Caprica.

as i understand his program puts serie and episode number to your file?
mepo only gives me this Bones - SE - 2012-10-22 - 21_25.ts
i use the settings like on page 1 in my tv server.
But I can't get it to work...
I just don't understand how to make settings in the config.
