i'm sorry but at the moment there are no new features planned.

Today, i installed "For the Records 1.5.0.0" (nerver use 4TR before), but Episodescaner is not able to update the 4tr-Database.

episodescanner -debug only reports "Using 4TR disabling some incompatible settings"

The CMD-Windows lists hundrets of errors (see Screenshot)

Can somebody help me please?!?

I'm really sorry i'm not using 4TR it could be that 4TR 1.5 isn't compatbile. Is anybody else here who uses 4TR 1.5?

I didn't even know that FTR1.5 was out. I would use it, but there is no way I will upgrade to it, if it isn't compatible... Needless to say, without your tool, I would not be using MP.

No idea why, but after i´d looked into the database this morning there where entries in the fields "SERIESNUMBER" and "EPISODENUMBER".

It looks like the tool is working no matter what the log says...

I am running 4TR 1.5.0.0 and using the TVGuideImporter. I noticed that my guide data started populating the episode and series number information, however not necessarily in a convenient format. The Series Number for me was some sort of ID, and the episode number is the total episode number, not per season. I now run a script to clean out all of this information before EpisodeScanner populates with more convenient Series and Episode numbers.

Any other solutions?

Hi

I am using the latest episode scanner at this time and am finding the scanner is not finding a few series that are on thetvdb
(It is finding nearly all of the series ok)

Except for case the series name is identical to that on thetvdb - I am able to find it using a simple api search such as

http://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=Finley The Fire Engine

Any ideas as to why these series are not being found?

This is a great tool for Mediaportal.

Is there a way to search the thedvb.com for de and en at one run?
Because some of my Series have the orginal title (en).

Could you please attach your log instead of posting it? Please also verify that you use the debug mode.

no sorry - but you could use 2 seperate episodescanner folders one with de configured and the other one with en as language.

Another great add-on you've come up with!

It seems your tool struggles with numeric episode names. An Australian Show here uses the date as it's episode name...
