No free tv card (1 Viewer)

Hi Neil
I can see one "no free card" reference in the logs, and that was because your tuners weren't detected. The actual problem that I think you're referring to at about 10am this morning seems to be caused by this error:
I can't be sure, but I suspect one of the tables in your database may have crashed. Try following the instructions here:

I looked at previous threads on the subject. I didn't realise the PC had to be connected to the network while running TV-Server. Had taken to turning off the hub. So now the problem has disappeared, of course.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
