Sorry for the delay, had to code something :)

Nothing more in the logs. Am I right that you have a dedicated server and more than one client?

Did you install the multi seat setup or did you choose singe seat?

No worries about the delay! Any help whenever you can is appreciated.

My setup is this: On 1 machine is the server and a client and 1 client on a laptop.

I installed the single seat installation on the server + client machine and the client on the laptop. I think this is correct, especially since it was working.

    Make sense?

Should work, when it worked already, did you deleted your time-shifting files from H:\Timeshifting\?
    Sometimes mp has leftovers.

I didn't delete anything extra when I did the uninstall/reinstall, I assumed MP deleted everything. I'll go into the timeshifting folder and delete the files when I get home from work.

    Will let you know.

Well, I finally got it to work. Not sure what did it but I deleted all of the timeshifting files (there were about 6 of them each around 250mb) and manually stopped and restarted the TV Service. I have a feeling that the TV Server had frozen the one TV tuner that was to be streaming to the laptop because it always said it was streaming in the config.

Now, any ideas how to get the EPG in the same order on the client as the single seat setup? The channels are all out of order.

    Great to hear that!

You should select the same channel group, as you did for the single seat setup.

    Hi Marvman!

Unfortunately, for me it is not working. it is driving me crazy ....

I can play all the other stuff, except the live TV TS stream. If I record TV, there's no problem playing TS within the video section.

So if you have any other idea, if you need other logs ... aso aso plz let me know.

Attached you'll find "debug" logs from these client.

    What i did:
    starting MP
start live tv (no picture or sound just black screen)
    server is streaming
    home screen
    stop media

    that's it

    hope you'll find my bug

I think it has something to do with the following error in your log:

    2009-10-30 14:12:51.640625 [Debug][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer: waiting for vmr9 connection
    2009-10-30 14:12:51.734375 [Debug][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer: waiting for vmr9 connection

2009-10-30 14:12:52.343750 [Debug][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer: no vmr9 connection. Maybe we have a radio recording but expect video too so we suppose it's ok.

I searched the forum but couldn't find much.

    My last suggestions are:

    try switching EVR/VMR9
if you have wifi connection to the server, try to use cable (for testing)
    try different codecs

    good luck to you
