No Removeable option in paths (1 Viewer)

When adding a path I've option to set the path as removeable

I have enabled & path only

Anyone any help on this - I've several external HDs (you gotta love the USB3 docking stations) of TV that I was about to import and then I realised I can only import one

hi, i believe that option was removed quite a few versions ago, it was made smarter so you dont have to worry about it, it should work fine for you

Yes, mastyman is correct. TVseries will not remove any reference to your local files in database if the drive is offline. If something is offline and you attempt to play it, then you will be prompted to connect removable media using its volume name.

A question about this:
suppose I have 2 external HDs
HD1: with Lost ( f:\Lost\)
HD2: with dexter ( f:\dexter\)

If I connect HD1, unit f will be available so... Will TVseries remove dexter from my DB? Or is the plugin able to distinguish HD1 from HD2 by label?

It will automatically handle this, during import it gets the medialabel of the disk...so it wont remove it if not mounted.

I was doing some HDD re-arranging and clean-up today. My "TV Series" drive was getting too full, so I moved the "currently running" Series over to my "TV Series 2" drive, which had plenty of available space after my clean-up, so I could continue adding episodes for the upcoming season. Neither are removable drives.

Now I have 2 instances of all episodes in those Series in the database, the previous location as well as the new location. The previous location instance asks for a disk or drive to be inserted or connected. The new location instance plays just fine.

Shouldn't there be some function to remove the duplicate (offline) instances automatically (if there is an instance that is on a non-removable disk). There are quite a few episodes to have to go through to delete the duplicates manually.

Bring your Offline device online, and it will recognize they no longer exist on that device. It will then cleanup those references.
