I could not find any reports on this particular problem, so I hope you can help me. I have a TVServer and two clients: a htpc and a laptop. Neither (!) gives any sound when watching TV, while the TV picture quality is good. I noticed that the "system sounds" in MP (the "ping" you hear when you're scrolling through the menu) go mute as well when the TV is on.
Strange thing is, that it used to work until a couple of weeks ago. No idea what changed it. However, I regularly try new versions of the TV server and Mediaportal. When I use VLC to view the stream, I do hear the sound.
I tried a lot of different audio/video codecs (even uninstalled and reinstalled ffmpeg) to fix the problem, but to no avail. I think I'm just overlooking something silly
I have attached the TVserver logs. If any more info is needed, I will gladly provide it.
