i updated to rc4 (clean install) but i again have the problem that i cannot watch tv. In TV Server configuration i can scan the channels (analog) but preview and timeshift is not possible. I ever receive the msg No video/ audio detected.

My card works fine with Hauppauge Wintv or MCE. I also tried to use different codecs in Mediaportal Configuration but always the same problem also chanig to mpeg recording stream wasnt helpfull.

Can anyone help me with this?
Or maybe it is really a bug which should be reportet?!

the corresponding log-files are in the attached zip file

Thx

I'm sorry to say that you might have picked a "troublesome" card, as the HVR-1100's analogue part is software encoding, rather than hardware encoding like the HVR-1300.

Hopefully you just missed the setup of hybridcards, as explained here, but if not the road to success might not be an easy one. (Been there - done that).

Perhaps this thread might be helpful.

Btw: I see no MediaPortal logs (only server)....

I did the Hybrid card Setup. But it does not work.

Concerning the logs of MP: I did not attach them because i can produce the problem in tv-server konfiguration so i think the problem must be somewhere in the server.

Concerning the card. According to the compatibility list everything should work or is the list not up do date since i picked the card as it should wokr in mce, mp oder dvbviewer. So i hopped to be able to try the different tools and pick the one that suits best. Mp seems very appropriate except the tv issue.

If i am not totally mistaken, it does state you need at least a 2.8ghz processor for software encoding, i take it you have a athlon xp2100 (correct me if i have this wrong), which would not be able to encode fast enough anyway.

Does nobody have an idea. Or maybe some having the same card can tell that it is possible to run this card in tv-server as state in the faq?!

In the setup check that the folder and location for "Timeshifting" is created.

In my setup I set the timeshifting folder to "D:\timesift\". The D drive exists but I did not manually create the "timeshift" folder. I got the same error. When I created the folder manually timeshifting worked no prob.

    Hope this helps.
