I did not get it fixed with a complete reinstall. Unfortunately I had to go back to the integrated TV. At least it is working with no issues. TVE3 for me is currently not working at all.

    Hi all,

I got the same problem. Could this be an issue with specific hardware and driver? I have an AMD System with a NVIDIA 430 Chipset and build in GPU 6150. MY TV Card is a hauppauge Nova-S. Does the error also occor un DVB-C/T Systems and Cards from other manufactures like skystar?

Does the error occur on Vista Systems too?

Yes, I have the same problem using Intel system, Radeon and DVB-C in Vista.

What I do when I get this error message is just to try to start TV again. In about 90% of the times it works on the third try

    Well, why didn't u just check the error.log on server;

Seems like it can't create object with typeid
    5EB9F392-E7FD-4071-8E44-3590E5E767BA

Try and "google" your registry ..start regedit, search for that key.
See what is registered - maybe do a regsvr32.

    /gibman

    ...more info on this..
my error log is still full of that number, and my registry has nothing on that ID...
I also searched tvserver directory and that ID was found in tvlibrary.dll
Then I tryed to register it with regsvr32....with a pop-up saying " the tvlibrary.dll was loaded but the DlRegisterServer entry point was not found...this file cannot be registered"

(Should this be on a separate thread?)

    Hi all,

I reinstalled my System. Now at the first start the TV will start correctly. But if i want to change the channel it crashes and the "No Video/Audio" message occur.

I looked in logs and i have 2 questions:

    1) Tv server ist waiting for "pmt" (see attched logs); What is pmt?
    2) Why is the signal strength:100 signal quality:0 ? Is there a tuning issue?

    Hi all,

After many reboots I found out a strange thing related to the "No Video / Audio found" error. At my System not all TV channels leads to thins error. Channels like CNBC, BibleTV or BBC world work always properly.

After some reboots the server works also properly on the other channels. But this is not reliable behaviour

So in my point of view this must be an tuning issue. Is this an other issue? Can anybody confirm this behaviour that not all channels show the error?

Thrakath can you try to find out what those channels have in common? Are they all using mono sound for example?

Of course I can confirm that - if low reception causes tuning to fail some channels are affected way earlier. In addition some transponders (like the earlier ProSieben's) where affected by e.g. DECT telephones and other devices.

I think this is not an issue of low reception, because with TVE2 everthing work fine. I also dont unterstand why signal strength is "100" and quality is "0"
