I can't be absolutely sure, but MisterD's patch seemed to speed up channel changing.

I reverted back to bumping up the Cyberlink encoders, since the Hauppauge ones (Mainconcept) were producing a pretty bad audio/video sync problem.
Where you found the Cyberlink encoders ? I'm not able to downlaod them from the wifi page link...
It may be a combination of the drive and MisterD's MSSQL script, or who knows.... What does the script modify, BTW?
It only create a new table, so it cannot be of any help/trouble...
The issue now is, that after turning on the TV everything is good, but once I change channels, the audio and video go out of sync. Changing decoders around helps a little, but it doesn't make it perfect. The only way to resync, is to stop TV, then start it again while at the new channel, and then it's perfect.
Can you wait for let's say 10 seconds after a switch and ses if audio goes ok ?
It sometimes happen to me too, but I'm quite sure that it's a codec issue...
