No video on single seat (1 Viewer)

Hi sdalberg,

if I uninstall the tv server and the tv server plugin, and just run the tuner from MP's tv engine. everything work. (following the same instruction from Silicondust)

since you're doing single seat, using the tv server or the regular tv engine doesn't make a difference to you anyway. (only difference being the regular tv engine only caught about 38 channels out of the 150 on my QAM mapper and the tv server can catch 68 channels out of 150...)

so, i think it is definitely something weird with the new TV server code...

I was doing single seat only to simplify install. Ultimately I will have clients, and another server for analogue, so TV Server is my long term goal.

EDIT: According to Whurlston, there is some PID mis-mapping for ATSC in general, don't think its specific to HDHomeRun, but all ATSC tuners.

I'm having this same problem.

I'm a new user of MP.

Just downloaded the latest TV server and MP SVN last night.

I have a Hauppauge HVR-1600. I get analog channels fine, but ATSC channels appear black, but with audio only.

I also see the red icon next to the channels in the setup, that other people were talking about.

Does anyone have a solution, or workaround for this?

I've had ATSC working with other PVR software in the past, but I really want to be able to use TVServer / MP.

whurlston thinks this is an MP Server problem where pins are being mis-mapped for ATSC Sources.

Without a developer from North America (ATSC) will to help out and get it submitted into the SVN I doubt there will be any solution for users!

There were some people in another thread who said they had their ATSC working fine... I wonder what they did. I read through other threads but never saw a reason why it started working for them.

Funny, it works fine with MP+SVN, but not at all with TVE3... can anyone confirm for sure whether or not they can get ATSC to work with TVE3?

PIN mapping of the filters seems to be problem with some cards and it isn't easy to cahnge these as it is with the XML files in MP+TV.2.

I beleive this to be the failure of some of the software encoding cards aswell when I look at the error logs.

Does anyone know where the info is kept in the database and how easily to access and change the data.
