i did a little coding today and the result has been that the coming next programm information can be shown on tvhome screen. i will try to get that into one of the next cvs' builds, but still not sure how fast it will go.

Will there be a "recording now"-icon which can be seen on every page - maybe next to the channel icon in the lower left corner?
And some really small issues (just have to nitpick!
):
- The space between "ZDF" (channel name) and "ZDF Olympia extra" (program name) is not the same as the space between program name and program description, just looking "not right".
- And horizontically, the status bar is overlapping a bit to the left, not being in line with the time indicator and the program description/name. Maybe it goes too far to the right for some screens as well.
- "Playing next" - that's just a great feature. But in my humble opinion, there ist just not enough space for a long program description - maybe for this thing showing channel and program name would be enough?

you're right in all points Waltz, i'll fix that...
about the playing next... it's a little bit of "ironic" to show the channel name there, so i have to think about it (because it's the same channel you're currently viewing)...
maybe start and end-time could be shown. i just wanted to show off that i got it working... more soon

Somehow I never saw this thread before. The skin is looking very impressive, keep up the good work (we could use a thumbs up emoticon)

fantastic work as far as i can see I am really looking forward to have a beta. I especially like the usage of icons instead of all the text. This will give a clear look and more space for important information.
But I am a little concerned about the fact that you have not post anything since 10 days. Don't misunderstood me. Maybe you are on holliday or you are celebrateing "Fasching" in Dresden. In this case everything is alright :wink:
But in the last few month i unfortunately see many people that strated a great work on skins and than realized their idea wasn't realisable so easy or at all. Than they have droped everything they made this far and really good ideas were dieing.
So please tell us whats going on.
If you say "i am not interested in skinning anymore" ... many people will be sad. If you say "at the moment i prefer to have some drinks, but work will be continued in a few days" ... a lot of people will be happy. If you say "hey guys don't worry, in the last ten days i cut of any communictaion line to be undisturbed. But in this time i have finished the first beta" ... all mp users will love you
So hope to hear from you soon

i'm still working on this skin, everything is fine! i'll post some screenshots to let you know that i'm still doing work, but i think there are some screens that look very similar / aren't really interesting so they don't need to be showed off .
i wrote 2 tests at university last week and have still one open, so i have to do alot stuff for uni first. but don't be afraid, you'll get the skin as soon as possible (it's kinda usable as it is now already).
