Not sure if this was already brought up, the Green button on my Windows MCE remote brings me to an odd home screen in this skin.

I think you're not using latest SVN with Default MCE remote mapping. This bug has been patched a while ago.

Edit : I you don't want to update to latest SVN just change the default mapping of your MCE Remote to the basic home screen. (I think in the MCE mapper he's go a different name if I remember well)

When will the home function remapped for the mykeys plugin?
When i press the shortcut for the home screen -> always the old homescreen appears.
Or is there a chance to fix it?

Post in bug section or try to contact the mykeys plugin maintainers.

    This is a nice design.

One point, I'd like to take the opportunity to urge designers to consider the overscan of CRT TVs. This means you can not place GUI elements near the edges. Current blue2 and mce skins work just fine.
Actually reading the wiki on this - it seems manufacturers build overscan into nonCRT TVs too - LCDs etc.

Essentially, about 5% total resolution is lost:

eg. For SD PAL(NTSC in brackets)

    720×576(480) limited to 680×550(450)

    See:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution

I agree, either the overscan compensation of mp should work with skins, either skinners should leave borders empty ....

Of course, the skin looks great !

I know how it works here.
My thoughts were that mofux could make it real that the home.screen is the basic home.screen , so that the shortcuts will work further on.
Or are there chances to make a new shortcut to basichome.scree?

may i take this chance to just ask why you all are so possessed of overscan?? i also have a CRT TV and just made the fonts a bit bigger and everything is readable fine here? or do i just have a good TV so i don't need overscan? i tried it several times, but the picture wasn't better than, just cutted out in the edges.?

When missing 2cm all around the nonafo skin you miss a lot's of informations (especially the weather overly half hidden and the title in top bar which is half hidden too.) etc.

I got rid of ovefscan using my TV Service Menu but this isn't recommended for many users.

that problem is clear to me. but as far as i'm concerned, overscna is just an option. why use it at all? just asking because my picture is good as it is without overscan, maybe i'm just an exception
