I have some problems on my htpc. Have a look at the error.log. The error occurs as soon as i start MediaPortal. Also MP is very laggy and some menus doesn't work anymore (info popup on live tv).

Looks like the notification call from infoservice isn't the reason, because the error occurs before infoservice tries to call the notification plugin.

Edit: Disabled infoservice and again the same error
This is what i did: Started MP -> Live TV -> TV On -> Pressed "I" Button on Remote for the info popup, but the info popup didn't opened.

I've also released the new infoservice version which supports the notification bar plugin.

Oh i've noticed a small bug: If a notification poped up while watching tv, then the notification bar will popup again, when i press "back" on the remote (It pops up just a small milisecond).

Im not sure excatly what you mean? but I will check it out tomorrow and schedule it for next release (I write to you if I can't figure it out)

Before committing v0.8.3.0 with below updates, are there someone who can help me testing it?

Hi, may I suggest that you include a small description of the plugin and changelog information in the MPE package. Both of these can be given in MP Extension Maker.

Maybe stupid question...
But what do I need to see NotificationBar? I have MP 1.3.0 alpha, defaultwide skin, latest infoservice and notificationbar.
When and where should I see it? Really sorry
Yesterday with mp 1.2.3 waited for infoservice popup or notification and saw nothing.

@Edalex I haven't tried InfoService yet, but if you switch off your internet connection, there is a built-in notifications, which should popup within a few seconds. (not in fullscreen mode though).

I can see you have the 0.8.3.0 version of notificationbar.. Have you downloaded it yourself or by MPEI?
