Nova-SE2 users: Is anyone able to scan Astra above 11700MHz? (1 Viewer)

Successful at last
Hi all,
I'm glad to report that I could solve my problem!
What I did:
1. Upgrade to the 22nd of Feb drivers - v2.121.26053 of Hauppauge. dman_lfc!
2. Replaced psisdecd.dll and mpeg2data.ax from the dvbfix package in the system32 windows folder (only possible in protected mode!). I noticed that the Hauppauge drivers used the older version of these two.
3. Upgraded to svn 17872 of TVS and MP. (I tried svn 18279 and 18032, but ran into other problems, so I reverted)
4. Registered the dvbfix (runme.bat). Without this I got an ugly effect that the first time after restart I could tune in, but not a second time.
5. Deleted the complete tvlibrary in MySQL and let SetupTV rebuild it. Without this, SetupTV would not start and TVservice would create 100% CPU load. After this, of course, I had to rescan, reset all settings, let it rebuild the epg data, reprogram my recordings...
The result:
1. I can scan and tune all channels (also above 11700 MHz)
2. This works even after hibernate and resume, even without the option 'reinitialize drivers after resume'. This means I don't need my workaround any more which restarted the PC after resume.
I'm lucky, now I can go on validating the newer svn's and try to get it running... Hopefully some other members (e.g. GregorV and emerich) are able to solve their similar problems.

it did not work for me
I installed the new drivers several time ago with no change.
Today I did the steps you suggested and still have the problem that TVServer needs to be restarted several times until it comes up in an operational mode.
I can tune all low band channels on my hauppauge and all channels on my digibox.
But for tuning high band channels on my Nova I need several restarts of TVService. Sometimes it is working directly but mostly only after 3-5 restarts of the service.
As there are no issues when using Transedit, I think there must be something in TVServer. I have the problem with two completely different systems (Intel, AMD) the only common equipment is the dish and the LNB. LNB was already changed. When TVService is in the mode where it cannot tune high band channels I can try to tune a high band channel and during TVServer is trying then as soon as I do the same a the parallel running Transedit session then TVServer immediately shows the channel. This makes me believe that the 22KHz signal is not switched on correctly from TVServer.
Instead of using Transedit for switching on the 22KHz signal I also can connect another receiver to the same antenna cable where the hauppauge is connected to. If I then switch the receiver to any high band channel (22KHz on) TVServer can tune high band channels also.
