I've done an install of English Xp on a partition. MP is working fine on the pc having problem with a French XP.
Bug Confirmed on my side.

Just try mediaportal-cvs-11-01-2005--20-51.rar and my nova-t works again perfectly. I have to do more test, but it is a call to all french and spanish tester, try it ... If it works for me it should for you !!
