Topic Title: MyTV: nova-t 9002 unable to create graph for this device

Area: Media Portal Program / Media Portal setup
Windows Version: windows xp pro sp2
CPU Type: amd athlon 1,24 ghz
Memory: 512 mo ddr
Motherboard Chipset: a7n8x deluxe
Video Card: nvidia 5900xt
Video Card Driver: 7.7.7.7
Video Render Type: VMR9
Video Codec Type & Version: mpeg2dec filter
Audio Codec Type & Version: mpeg/ac3/dts/lpcm audio decoder
TV Card: hauppauge nova-t 9002
TV Card Type: dvb-t
TV Card Driver: 2.106.23151.0
Satelite/CableTV Provider: antenne

i have a new installation of the RC1 release of mediaportal, with or without the cvs update, i have an "unable to create graph for this device" message when i try to add my nova-t. it worked perfectly with previous version. the only way to correct it is to replace the tvcapture.dll with an old one. i have the last 2.1 drivers for my nova-t installed.

i noticed i am not the only one with this problem.

thx for helping me with it.

since 0.2RC1 is out we are getting many reports about bugs that are hard to reproduce because not everyone has the problem. but we will have a look and try to find the problem.

more reports will help us to speed up this process.

    thanks for your report.

Well, 10 people says that they have a problem at km 23 of the road, and some answers: "they have different cars".
i understand that you are frustrated, but please follow the ::HowTo: post bugs::
add the template and don not post text out of the log file! attach the logfiles to your posts!

i dont have write access to mantis. this means i have to report the bugs that are posted here in the forum and other people have a look. this is quite intricately. but when frodo is back we will make a few changes to the bugreporting process.

    .
First, i apologies if my posts look sometimes a little rude: i do not speak good anough English to write with nuances, and i'm often short on time.
The thing wich make me frustated is i do not see this "confirmed" nice tag in front of the threads reporting this problem. Mine is 10 days old, not confirmed.
My original post follows the rules with attached files, as you asked, this was just a citation.
I tried here to answer the most clearly possible to show how the logs were similar. My purpose was to make clear to everybody (and at first sight) that this bug is not a question of cards, and the threads about this problem need to be joint, and confirmed. I try to explain it to you from the begining. It was just to help tracking a critical bug :sorry: if i made a mistake.
    Do you want-me to edit-it ? (btw, i like the "junior member", i'm 60 ;-)

Oh, my god ! What strange rules, indeed ! You manage this testing forum and cannot add a bug in Mantis ? This impose to you such a frustating extra work.
Like a developper with no write acces to cvs ? :jawdrop:
Why did this community impose to themself such restrictive rules, people do not trust each others ?

But now that Smirnoff knows about this critical bug, and things are very clear, i'm sure Mp will work again very soon :D
Have a nice day, infinityloop, i know you do your best, you are very nice and sympatical.
