I see. I request mpextended to give me the list of channels for groupid=1. It means All channels. And you did disabled it.
I think I should add group functionality to my app.

I just sent to Apple version 1.1. What's new:
1) a lot of critical bugs were fixed. Now it will not crash in any non-standard situation.
2) Now all configurations should be done in the app (not in the ipad Settings). It gives user-friendly interface for adding server settings.
3) tv/radio groups added. I think you will like it. Very easy to use. I myself never used groups before because of hard navigation in mediaportal. Now I am using it on ipad .
4) recordings logos fixed.
5) TV toggle button added to zone settings. If you don't use tv server you can turn tv toggle off. It will not load all the stuff according to TV in this case.
6) Some localization problems fixed.

It will be available in the AppStore after Apple review.

Still no luck for me. Its better with the config dialog in app but not user friendly when things are not working. I do not think I fill i the credentials wrong. I fill in both MPExt. and WifiRemote credentials. All I get is 'Fail' but I do not know what failed. And when things fail I cant save the client so I need to redo everything from scratch when testing again.

You could at least display info about the connection(s) that fail. WifiRemote tells you when a tcp/ip connection is established, when credentials are wrong etc, why not display this info to the user? The same goes with MPExtended, both connection to TAS and MAS can be checked in displayed in the gui.

Is there any log file to check?

I think that the reason is that you don't use required mpextended and wifiremote. It should be 0.5.4 and 0.8.1. It should be stable releases. Maybe you use some custom builds?
And you can just press on "Fail" again to reply the test.

Yes, that is probably the case then. I use 0.6 dev. This version is however backward compatible and 'should' work without issues for your app. Again, it would be good if the user is informed about the reason for failing.

OK. I'll plan it to future releases. I am sure that other people with recommended plugins will don't have any issues.
