    Hu,

I came across this bug. When I have a playlist loaded with songs, I sometimes get, when the next song is playing, the info of the previous song that was played. See screenshots.

In these screenshots you see that sheryl crow is playing (2nd screenshot) and that Jim is seen in the now playing screen (first screenshot). But Jim was already played. And Sheryl Crow is actually playing.

This bug happens at random. Skipping to the next track (manually or automatic) makes it play normal again.

    Any thoughts about this one?

Is my bug report not complete enough? Should I add some extra info?

    Hi,

It looks fine to me, but maybe no-one with the relevant expertise has had time to look.

I have never noticed this behaviour. This is the sort of problem that a developer might need to have an idea about what is causing it. It could take a tester many hours to try to reproduce.

Is it really random? Does it always happen with the same song? How often does it happen? Do you have one album where this will always happen? Perhaps there is a problem with your database?

I am really just guessing, but unless someone can reproduce the problem, it is going to be hard to track down.

A solution would be nice ;)

Sorry I have been ill for a month and work is taking up all my time at the moment. I will look into this as soon as I get the time

It is really random. Always a different song. Doesn't matter if I choose an album separately or if I load 1000 random songs with onebuttonrandommusic plugin. My database is recently rescanned and is totally fine. It also happened with my old database.

But one thing is for sure: it happens every time I play music! So it is definitely a bug.

I can try to install mediaportal on a different system to see if it happens there. Well do that when I have time.

I've seen this happen on my setup too. I thought it was just something related to the StreamedMP skin. It wasn't a big deal, it usually gets back in line after a few songs or me just moving around, but it *does* happen.

Can you reproduce this with the default skin and no plugins (apart from the ones that come with MP)? Could be due to a plugin? Would be nice to rule this out.

The screenshots and logs were created with all plugins disabled and default skin.
