This sort of thing would depend on the level of risk associated with the fix. Currently, the problem that is fixed by this is largely cosmetic. If a more serious issue is introduced as a result, it would not be good.

Possibly but as we are building the 1.2.3 installer for testing now then it is likely to be the next release. It is a one line code change which I think is actually probably solving other issues and should be pretty safe (and totally limited to BASS player) I will discuss with the team...
