Now playing artist/song not always updated (1 Viewer)

OK, this will not do anything except produce some logs. This is some code I have been playing with for something else but should help out here.

Put the two files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process

Next time you then see the wrong details can you attach logs. Also can you provide details of the time this happened, the previous track, the current track (that is showing the wrong details)

Obviously this needs to be using BASS player and some of the setting that trigger the bug (I still can not replicate this on three machines I have)

launch the debug mode option and select gather all existing logs.

Settings:

Bass player, gapless playback enabled, fade in on start disabled.

What I did:

16.19 Start MP
16.19 Start playback of music
Song: Beatles - While my guitar gently weeps.
16.24 Next song is played and the bug is there
Song: The soca boys - Follow the leader
(Made a screenshot of this moment/bug)
16.28 Next song is played, bug is gone.
Song: Queen - Action this day
16.29: Stop playback of music and exit MP

Could you try the attached?

I don't think it can be this simple but it definitely looks like a timing issue and I think this may solve it.

Rename the existing core.dll in the MP Program Files folder and place the one in the zip there

If it is working then no

I think that core.dll might not work. Please try that one first and then try the attached.
