Okay, I'm stumped. XML woes. (1 Viewer)

The text in the string is fine, it just gets mucked up by the forum's formatting. As for the attributes of the images, I can replace them with completely new images of different stuff but named the same and it still mucks.

Ok, I have rebuilt the entire XML file by pushing a DOS list into a .txt file and re making the graphisc from scratch. I can only guess it's a SVN build issue? (he says in hope)

Don´t know what it is.

Hi Glenn,

I copied and pasted your xml (fixing forum formatting errors) and
cannot reproduce, but I am using the files from the last download
of your skin.
I also had to copy/rename the TV animation images to a "we" folder since
there were only 13 for the weather.

Is there something else I can do to attempt to reproduce?

I downloaded your test skin and whilst it had 24 weather images the hover_my weather.xml only referenced 12 and had some tabs in the <textures> element. I modified the xml, removing the tabs and putting in all 24 weather frames and it worked fine. I've attached both XMLs so you can see.

Interesting. It still flashes one frame of the weather guy and vanishes for me. I'm on the latest SVN are you?

This was a real hair puller

Using SVN from late last week.
I had the weather play OK for me, so not much help there.

I think that you are hitting a max image count in the texture manager.

After many, many different combinations...I (finally) saw that the My Plugins images
were the last set to load.
I also had noticed earlier that it looked like it was skipping a specific range of
images (0023-0030) and these play OK by themselves.
Also if I took image 0022(already loaded in the texture manager) and put it last
it would be visible at the end (still skipped 23-30 though).

So...removed all but 2 or 3 images from the weather image list to test the idea
of making more textures available and...the my plugins animation plays OK!!!

This can make you crazy
