Have you looked at the built-in myMovies? I checks against IMDB/OFDB/etc.

You put the dynamic part in the wrong field. The correct version is:

1) Click add new rule
2) Click dynamic
3) Select folder
4) At last add the <xyz>.png part to the field with the folder

Yeah, it's built-in. In the MP-setup just under "Movies".
Steps:
0) MP-Setup -> Movies
1) Movies Folders -> Add movie folders
2) Movie Database -> Setting: Add preferred movie databases
3) Movie Database -> Scan: Press button to update internal db
4) Movies no show up in MP
This should be enough here... otherwise it goes to much OT.

there is no pluging that will work and feel like mytvserires for mymovies. if you could do one then i am sure a lot of people will appriciate that.
as far as i know thetvdb.com database that is where this plugin is pulling all the database information pulls its data from tv.com and if something dosent exist there then a manual user input is accepted. I am sure a mymovies plugins will be able to work in the same way. You might even talk to the sysadmin of thetvdb.com and maybe they will be able to host something like this for movies plugins for MP,Meedio and XBMC.

Would it be possible to hide the episode thumbnails for episodes that have not been watched yet.
I know that people are not supposed to upload thumbnails that spoil the plot but not every one follows the rules.

Sorry guys for the lack of updates the past week or so, work (as in my real job) has gotten a bit in the way. But it's looking better this week, but might be tight again in the weeks coming.
With this in mind, do you think the latest svn is stable enough to be released as such? If not, what are the showstoppers? I'm using it without any problems on my end.
The null reference I think was a general issue in one of the MP svn builds that has since been solved. Seven5 can you confirm?
Piranha, what do you mean "loose" episodes you havent fully watched? Please confirm you are not in the "unwatched" view, which would (by design) have this behaviour (as in, episodes are always counted as watched no matter how long you watch them....if playback is started it gets set to watched).
I also read about the edit giving null reference in config if no logo rule is defined, thats easy to solve. One last thing is that it doesnt seem to clear osd data on playback end. Can anyone confirm that after watching an episode, then going into my videos and watching a video without any meta data the osd during playback will still show the info from the episode watched previously?

Ah... never mind. RL should always be preferred.
For me there aren't any problems concering the stability. I'll try to check the OSD-thingy. Only problem I encountered is that he sometimes changes my selected banner for a show.
One last thing I'd wish for a next stable release: the possibilty to rename the views so that you'd have a complete translation of this great plugin.

Thumbs Up here too. The only problem i have on occasion is that when a new series is put into my series directory, the app picks it up, then asks me what series it is. I choose the series (or not listed), and the box disappears, but focus isn't returned to the MP app, so i'm just kindof "stuck". No biggy, i just vnc into the box and click on the program, and all's back to normal, and it doesn't always happen. Just somthing i thought worth bringing up.
