For me one bug and one question :

- When MP run, if i add a new episode it take the statut watched but I don't watch it.
- Since you add the language support I use French one. But with the function to retrieve subtitle from forom, You use the french title to retrieve information but forom is in english. It's possible to change that ?

For me there aren't any problems concering the stability. I'll try to check the OSD-thingy. Only problem I encountered is that he sometimes changes my selected banner for a show.

It should never change a banner on its own, unless you have the "random banner" option turned on. I'll recheck this.

One last thing I'd wish for a next stable release: the possibilty to rename the views so that you'd have a complete translation of this great plugin.

Renaming of the views.....well the thing is I could quickly enable this but my plan was all along to make them fully configurable, but I just didn't get around doing that. It should work just fine, but my GUI to do this as well as the db code to store them is not done yet. I guess I'll make it so that views can be enabled/disabled and also renamed...this would be not really "clean" but it can be done quickly.

Thumbs Up here too. The only problem i have on occasion is that when a new series is put into my series directory, the app picks it up, then asks me what series it is. I choose the series (or not listed), and the box disappears, but focus isn't returned to the MP app, so i'm just kindof "stuck". No biggy, i just vnc into the box and click on the program, and all's back to normal, and it doesn't always happen. Just somthing i thought worth bringing up.

You mean when you get the menu in MP and make a selection MP itself looses focus? Or do you mean that the listcontrol that displays the items looses focus? I can't image the first one, and the second would only require you to press down/up or something to refocus it, and I guess I could do it automatically for you too.

Hmm, thats tricky, because when run in french it doesn't even know the english title. I would have to go out and seperatly retrieve it.

SOrry, i gotta say that i had to go back to the last stable release, for some reason, the svn version i had was just all over the place. There were tons of issues, including the scanning. I dont know what it was.

I am a bit more comfortable with MP now though, so i can grab an svn version tonight and play with it.

If you're adding last minute features, one thing i'd like to see that would be simple, is a label on the "Choose an episode" dialogue that pops up when the scanner needs help picking what your show is, that just got scanned.

that will pop up even if you're under my music, and its horribly confusing. So some feedback on the dialogue box would be great, just to explain what question you're answering.

As for other features, i'll grab the svn, or final when it goes final, and i'd love to list out some changes that could be made. I'm a big fan of the plugin, and really have some usecases of how it should be used in my head. I"d love to do what i can to make it better.

First I want to congratulate and thank Inker for making the best plugin available for MP.
I've had basically no issues configuring it but this morning I noticed something odd when I was flagging some of my episodes as watched.
When the "wizard" had scanned all my added folders it added them all correctly with name and season and so on. But when I went in and looked at the details of some episodes I noticed it had somehow "linked" some episodes to the wrong filename. Like CSI 7x20 was linked to 7x22 so whenever I did something to 7x20 it automatically did it to 22 aswell (also applies to trying to watch 7x20 - automatically gives me 7x22 instead.)

When this happens to me i go and recheck my filenaming on the problematic episodes if its correct and then i remove the full season in your case you should remove season7 of CSI and re run the import function to re import your CSI season7. That should fix it. If it still gives you problem try given the episode title on episode 20 and 22.

The tips that you gave me sadly didn't work. It's even worse now. It adds multiple entries of the same episode and cannot link others to the right file. CSI S07 is now a complete mess.

That should never happen. Please provide full details:
Are you using the latest "stable" build or svn?
What are the two filenames in question (for 7x20 and 7x22) (provide the full path - if you prefer pm them to me)?
When you do the testparse, what values are filled for season/episodeno and episodeno2?
Do you use std. Parsing expressions or something custom (if so, which)?

Just to be clear, when go into episode details for 7x20 (as parsed by the plugin) and change something, the same change ends up being in 7x22 (and in 7x20)?

I have the same problem and the random banner switch is off.

Also, there is a show called "Es war einmal der Mensch" available in thetvdb. However the plugin search function doesn't find it and subsequentially doesn't download any episode data. Might this be caused by the fact, that all available information is in German only?

I am using the SVN version from 29-04 and the dll rev 131.

IIRC the plugin currently only allows machting against the english title. So you have to name your files with the english series title and then it'll retrieve the german data. It's called something like "Once upon a time... Human" in English.

Yes, because the online db doesn't (yet) allow searching for non-english titles. This should either solve itself, or require a minor code change, depending on the implementation they do.
