    Thanks for a great app. We use it alot at home watching missed episodes.

    One thing that would be great based on my own problems. The player often freezes and rebuffers. The solution to that is to increase the network buffering time.

    Could you add a configuration setting for network buffering time and use it in

    Line 239 in WMPVideoPlayer.cs

    Code:
    _bufferTime = xmlreader.GetValueAsInt("OnlineVideos", "NetworkBuffering", 5000);
     _wmp10Player.network.bufferingTime = _bufferTime;
     _wmp10Player.Ctlcontrols.play();

    Also remove network.bufferingTime in OnBuffering, it should be set before play.

    Regards

    Mr Hipp

    Vote +1.
    My internet connection is not that good from time to time. Then the stream starts too early and the video breaks up too frequently. I'd rather wait a little bit longer until the stream starts and then watch it without interruption.

    I also can report another small bug in OnlineVideo (Version 0.16):
    Sometimes, (due to my unreliable internet connection), when I select a station (like PRO7) the feeder is suppose to send the available streams to display it on the screen. During that time the waiting wheel (sand clock) is being displayed. So far so good.
    Now if I press the back button on my remote to early, because the transfer is too slow and does not finish for example, Online Videos reacts and goes back to the previous dialog, but the sand clock is still rotating on the screen.

    Keep up the good work.

    Problems with flv streams from justin.tv

    Hello all,

    I try to find out what is wrong with my configuration, but have no idea where to start looking.

    I have SAF4.0beta MP1.0.2 and OnlineVideos 0.16, but can not play any justin.tv streams in online videos. A dialog opens that it fails to stream.

    From the MP logfile, I can see that the http address looks like the following one:

    http://127.0.0.1:30004/stream.flv?h...+"video9"}&subscribepath=jtv_LX2M_Uj21pGflXNC Video

    I have my configuration and the log files attached.
    The same type of error happens for PRO7 streams. I also read through other topics regarding problems with flv streams but n othing helped.

    -I have no proxy running.
    -firewall is off.

    What I like to know is if there is a way to find out more about the problem. Can I try these type of streams through other means like vlc ?

    Thanks,
    Ulf

    Hello all.
    Would it be possible to make something with the Youtube Music Discovery Project under onlinevideos?
    To make use of playlists, mix tape.... or would that require a new plugin?

    Thanks

    Any idea how to further track down the problem?

    Thanks.

    CNN is also not working for me... I would also like to say, I think we should start categorising these sites a little, starting to get a lot of sites on the one screen... Like your CNN, MSNBC could be under News, your Miro and Youtube should stay on the main screen as they are major content providers but there are a lot of sites on the main list that one are not in English and two seem to be rather obscure. (Man the English comment makes me sound arrogent0. I think you know what I mean though, maybe catagory by Language and/or Genre, take a leaf out of Moving Pictures..

    Actually, the first thing I tend to do when I install a new version of online videos is disable all the non-English sites. Unlike many people who participate in this wonderful product, I am sadly untalented when it comes to multi-lingual capabilities. So a good configuration enhancement would be to enable / disable sites by language. Or as thesystemera says, display them by language category.
