    Please read thread. Changes inside MePo latest SVN require changes inside Plugin Code, but I will only add those once RC2 is released.

    Just like you play it, in OnlineVideos. Open the Context Menu (default F9) on a video.

    Before you can download, you have to set a downloadfolder in plugin's config.

    have selectet under youtube/hd-content ,the video "hd:slow mow surfer" in 1920x1080 (mp4).
    it dosen t play. nothing happens.
    then i have downloaded it and open it with mediaportal. it works without problems!
    logs attached

    regards
    parkuhr

    update:
    if i try to play the downloaded video inside online videos, it dosn t work. if i play it with mediaportal under my videos (have linked the dowload foldere there), it works!

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.19 (29.03.2010)

    I think, it works with myVideos because that player constructs the directshow graph manually instead of automatically, as OnlineVideos does. (btw: this will change with MediaPortal 1.1 to automatic as well). Automatic graph building means that the filters that the Operating System choses (by registry entries) for the file to be played are used. It's really hard to get the filters set up correctly if you don't know a lots about this king of thing. That's the reason why I suggest installing SAF in the other thread.

    Thanks for a great plugin!

    However after upgrading to the version 0.19 I cannot use some of the channels which worked before with ver 0.17.
    Error message: "error getting category videos", it happens when I try to open a category.
    In this example I use Generic site and the following URL: RUSSIA.RU (see below).
    Why this does not work anymore?

    <Site name="Russia.RU" util="GenericSite" agecheck="false" enabled="true" lang="ru">
    <Description>Russia.ru</Description>
    <Categories>
    <Category xsi:type="RssLink" name="All Videos" thumb="">http://www.russia.ru/rss/video.xml</Category>
    </Categories>
    </Site>

    Many thanks in advance!

    thx 4 the infos.

    i am not sure if saf makes not any trouble...atm, i am able to play the most types of media. i dunno if everything runs also so fine with saf. then i read, that you need the unlocked version of saf.
    is there a way, to fix my problem without installing saf?

    Not an easy fix someone can simply explain due the many factors involved. You need to find out how your system wants to play http .. mp4 files and change that. Graphstudio could help you with that. Also Filmerit. Both tools in the saf package but can be found on the web as well.
