AW: Re: OnlineVideos 0.29 (29.04.2011)

Thank you for the hint, offbyone. I'll try the different login in the evening.

If an other codec is preventing watching Youtube (flv) directly what can I do
to analyze this and get it working? I do not have knowledge about codecs.

Hm, the logfile clearly states "Invalid credentials" as response from authentication. So something must be wrong with those.

    Hello,

I just wanted to ask if it is possible to get the stand alone version of OnlineVideos?
Without compiling sources or some other technical works.

    Thanks a lot,

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.29 (29.04.2011)

The standalone project is more a proof of concept and in no way ready for a release. It won't play many videos and has only a very small part of the featureset the MediaPortal plugin currently has. So it's no use to any end-user out there, only something for devs.

    Firstly, Hi All.

Secondly just installed this on my media portal install on XP and think its great!!

    BBC iPlayer works great.

4oD only works for items in the All category, all of the others return the error:
Unable to play the video. No URL.
Is this a known issue with a fix and there is something i need to do in order to fix this? If so please let me know as there are some of the other channels I have noticed reporting the same error, e.g. SouthParkWorld.

Does this also work with ITVPlayer and Channel5 as i have struggled to find this out? If it is just a matter of entering in some details and adding a new site in the site tab of the configuration tool please detail these for me.

If it helps, I'm in the UK, running MP 1.1.2.0 with OnlineVideos 0.29.0.0

    Many Thanks,
    Alasdair.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.29 (29.04.2011)

You're the first reporting 4oD broken (I am not using this site it's blocked here). Will need to investigate or wait for others from UK reporting.
There are no ITVPlayer and Channel5 sites currently available. It's not easily configurable - needs more work for a complete site.
SouthParkWorld is broken due to a new unsupported handshake on the rtmp connection-

Hm, the logfile clearly states "Invalid credentials" as response from authentication. So something must be wrong with those.
I could solve the issue with entering Youtube "Abonnements" now.
Some time ago I connected my Youtube account with my google mail account.
I didn't remember that since I'm using them still seperately. So I had to
use my googlemail email address instead of the old one previously referenced
by my Youtube account. Now it works!

But still I cannot watch Youtube videos directly. As mentioned when I download
them they can be played in MP but not directly. All the other channels seem to
work. What can I do to analyze this and get it working, too? Any help is highly
    appreciated.

Since MP 1.2 Beta I have problems with playing flv and mp4 streams. I attached the log while trying to playback youtube flv and mp4, both didn´t work.
