There is an anouncement on top of EACH forum how to report bugs and guidelines to follow!

I need the full logfile to tell the problem you are having. Looks like youre not using latest OnlineVideos version...

Hi there, I attempted to upgrade from ver .20 to .24 and have run into an issue in which attempting to configure the utility fails with the following JTT debug mesage:

it is a microsoft .net framework error message and there doesnt seem to be an onlinevideos log file that is generated, unless the onlinevideo log file appears at a different location than other mediaportal log files.

I've tried reinstalling the plugin a few times with no luck (including manually deleting the dll)

Any suggestions?

The log needed is (at least) mediaportal.log. In that there is the onlinevideo logging

0.24 uses it's own Fullscreen Window Id, maybe you are mapping the wrong Action, it should be:
Keys and Spounds->Global->Toggle between GUI and Fullscreen(18) (default key is X)

Sorry, I'm not sure what this is supposed to do?


Just to be clear, I only use Mepo to watch videos, I don't use it for TV.

Now, in the Keys and sounds> windows specific, under Full-screen Video, I have some keys bound to the keyboard, such as "enter" for play/pause, and up/down for volume up/down.
These keys (enter and up/down) are also in global keys, so I use the same keys for 2 functions, obviously global for menu, and Full-screen for when playing full screen video.

this has been working fine for me from the beginning, and I must set up like this because of how my remote works, anyway it is not a problem.

Now, when I use OnlineVideos 0.20, for example, play is still the "enter" key and volume is the up/down keys. This is also the case when playing videos from HDD. All is fine, this is how it is meant to be.

Now when I install 0.24, play is no longer " enter" key, and volume is also changed, as is all the keys.

So, when using 0.24, the "full-screen video" keys are not working like they do with 0.20 and videos on HDD when watching in full-screen.


This is what I am asking, is why it not work with 0.24 like it does 0.20?
You said "0.24 uses it's own Fullscreen Window Id", is this the difference between 0.24/0.20, and is what is causing the problem? If yes, how is it corrected? Sorry, I don't see how what you stated above about the GUI/FS toggle helps in this situation?

Great plugin..

Does anyone have any luck playing vids from Break.com? ive tried several, such as the "cute girls" category and just get a general error---unable to play.

Hi,I have a problem with onlinevideos plugin,they don't work me only the youtube's vids,but perfectly all the others vids work;the youtube's video problem is audio codec,but youtube in the browser it works,windows media player can play mms stream,I have installed last SAF.

what the problem can be?
