    Is it possible to update the compatibility data on the MPEI as it shows OV working with MP1.6.1, but installation fails (due to compatibility)?

    Unfortunately still no OnlineVideos for 1.7 pre release. How is it progressing? Thanks :)
    Sorry if this question is annoying, I understand.

    anyone else has the issue that:
    1. YouTube
    2. select any video
    3. start playback
    4. nothing happens - you can still navigate through the list of videos. MP is NOT froozen.
    5. ~15 to 20 seconds later, OV starts to buffer
    6. ~30 seconds after I tried to start the playback, it finally starts to play
    This issue started to occur without any changes to the system. However, it started at the same time google made changes to YT that broke a few YT apps on iOS/WP.
    Upgraded to 1.8 in the hope it would fix it, but still the same issue. Will provide logs in the evening.

    Just to check: are you sure you have excluded the mediaportal directory in your virusscanning software?

    That's strange.
    Looking into your logs (mpurlsourcesplitter)
    the time from
    "MPUrlSourceSplitter_Protocol_Afhs: ctor(): Start"
    to
    "CreateAsyncRequestProcessWorker(): Start"
    takes 13 seconds

    If I look at my system it takes 0.03 seconds.
    So there's definitely something slowing things down.
    I had those times too a couple of weeks ago, but adding mediaportal.exe to the excluded processes in MSE solved it for me.
    Btw, that delay was also present when stopping a video.
    If it isn't virusscanning or mediaportal installed on a floppy drive, I wouldn't know where to look next...
