I have the same problem with "small black window", latest plugin version (AFAIK) and latest SVN...

Any idea?

The Online Videos plugin runs on my MP 0.2.2.0 system without this "black video" problem. I got another problem, all videos seems to be played on to low framerate. The sound is good but the video appears as it only was 15 FPS. Anyone have an idea?

I had to set my preferred bitrate to 300 if i use 768 i get slow and choppy video its more like a slide show

Thanks stig for the tip, unfortunately this does not affect the Online Videos plugin. My Music Videos plays streams just fine in 768 kbit. Maybe the Flvplayer swf is configurated to use less than 25 fps/sec. Any other having this problem?

In MediaPortal setup I can see an configuration option for the FLV player but nothing happens when I click on it...

I have the same problem white the google video playback.
Is there any progression on this problem or dos someone got a workaround for it ??

can this plugin put the images it creates in the cache or thumbs folder instead of in the root of MP

This plugin is not dead. I haven't had much time lately. I will release a new version sometime this week to address the following issues
- Google Videos no longer working
- Thumbnails saved in MP root
- Play videos in fullscreen instead of video window
- Use the Mplayer plugin instead of the FLVPlayer to play the flv videos
- Add option to find similar videos in youtube
- Additional videos sites will be added such as Gametrailers, VidiLife, VideoJug, and BlipTV
