gregmac45 - Most excellent news that you are still working on this plugin! Is there a chance you will (if you are able to) allow playing of the video in the mini player window (lower left - BlueTwo skin) when the user jumps to another plugin or back up?

Do you think it might also be possible to log-in to you-tube and access your saved favorites/playlists/subscriptions?

The new version may not be able use the MPlayer plugin. Mplayer refuses to play videos from Google Videos, Metacafe, Grouper, and a couple of the new sites. When trying to play videos from these sites, mplayer logs the following error:
    "stream not seekable"

If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

if not, we'll have to keep using the FLVPlayer :-(

If you install ffdshow you can play flv files in media portals video player.

Could this be used rather than the FLVPlayer ?

Last time I tried, it wouldn't stream flv videos. It would only play local flv videos.
