Please help

Really good plugin but unable to set it up.

I have done exactly what was mentioned but i am getting the following error.

Did you edit OnlineVideos.xml ? It looks like you made syntax error.

It's possible to add new custom sources to this plugin? if yes, how can i do that? i'm trying to add my own sources but it doesn't work....

Im using Mediaportal server / client with latest version 0.30 of your plugin.

The changelog says you changed the settings to save to mediaportal.xml instead of the onlinevideosites.xml

However, I cant get favourites working for any of my sites.

I noticed because its server, the mediaportal.xml is saved in c:\program data\mediaportal instead of the root of the mediaportal directory under your program files

Is this causing an impact?

Although the thing is the settings are being saved somehow.. When I go into the plugin configuration, the settings are saved there.. But still no favourites when I use the plugin.

Anyone else having probs with no favourites in mediaportal server / client?

Im using revision Revision 16607 (2007-12-13) with MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 and svn 16622 (2007-12-13)

I will try going back to previous release where its not saving settings to mediaportal.xml and see how that goes

EDIT:

Went back to 0.29 where the settings are saved to onlinevideosites.xml and still cant see favourites.

So ive gone back to 0.30

Am I doing something wrong here?

Or doesnt this plugin work with Mediaportal server / client

Has anyone been able to fix the problem with FLVplayer not letting you stop/exit playback before the clip is over? Other then that, this is a great plugin, thanks for the development efforts.

I just press stop button twice. First one pauses the video, second one exits.

Getting My YouTube favorites working with this plugin

Hi:

Does anyone here know how can I get my YouTube favorites to work with this plugin? I've entered my YouTube username and password as per the readme file, but I can't see any category which displays my own YouTube favorites.

Any ideas?

New Version soon

I have been too busy to work on this plugin lately. My time is starting to free up and I plan on releasing a new version. The plan is to add your requested features. So far I have 2 request:
1) change the youtube code to use the new api
2) add ability to use Mplayer for all videos.

If you have a request, please post it here and I'll try to add it to the next version.

That feature was removed because the youtube api was not returning all the favorite videos. The next version will use the new api. I think the new api returns all the videos. You can do a quick test by pasting the following in your browser:http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/{your_youtube_userid}/favorites
and make sure all your favorites are there.

After an hour of fiddling:

To get VLC working you have to:

1) Make sure you installed the latest version of VLC from www.videolan.org.
Copy 'libvlc.dll' from '\<VLC root directory>\VLC' to the MP root folder

Voila
