I love CCMatrix's tool to rename TV series. This is kind of OT, but does anyone have a tool to rename movies as well?

Hi all,

Just to update you on the video issue I had with everything working accept my Top Gear video's, I updated to 0.4b this evening, and all works perfectly now!

this really is an awesome plugin, and works brilliantly now!

Just a shame the website it uses doesn't seem to have graphics or comments about "My Family" though it knows what it is....

oh well, its all a working progress i guess!

Hi, I'm really loving this plugin! I just updated to the latest one and the plugin it self scans and picks up all My series perfectly, though when I load up Media Portal and select MP-TV Series it shows nothing but the last plugin all the shows showed up can anyone help? thanks!!

Is there any way to modify the db, and how in that case? I had 2 seasons of a show that was renamed differently and therefor it created 2 entries for the show (2 identical banners in MP, one for each season). Any way I can get the script to realize this? I tried renaming one season to match the other one but it still kept them as seperate

Not a shame, it is something YOU can change. Go there, register and upload banners about that series. It is very easy. Don't rely on others to do all the work for you!

and Game_Dude, I had this issue, make sure you re-copy the new Skin ifile into the Skins directory! a fair amount changed on it!

Problems Importing

This plug in looks great, but I'm having issues importing my files. In the Video Importer, if I run the test it recognises my files with no problems at all. But when I try to actualy do it I get an error message:

Failed to locate assembly 'SgmlReaderDll, Version=1.6.2195.24675, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=null'.
Note that the configuration program must be executed from/ reside in the MediaPortal folder, the execution will now end.

I've tried using both the regular and the simple expression parser and get the same results. Again, this plug in looks like it's just what i was looking for: Please help me make it work!

i get this too! two eps from battlestar, each with a slightly different name means i've got two battlestar icons in the plugin.

I noticed some odd/unexpected behavior in Import Setting of configurator. I'll try to explain as clearly as possible:

In Import Settings, when using multiple Import Paths, when I go to Parsing Test, only the series supported by the paths that are 'Enabled' on the Import Paths screen are test-parsed. (as expected)

I would then expect 'Start Import' to then work the same way, but instead, if the Import Paths for a previously-imported series is 'disabled', when I 'Start Import' for the new series, the new series is imported, but the previous series is 'greyed-out' in Details, and all of the local filename and other data is gone.

I would expect that if previous paths/series are still in Import Paths list, but are disabled, and I add a new (enabled) path/series to the list, that the previously-imported disabled paths/series would not be parsed and the associated data would be untouched.

Do I misunderstand the intent of the 'enabled' indicator in Import Settings/Import Paths?

Note that the way I intend to use your new plugin is in a 'manual import' mode only. I know that it can automatically scan for new files, but I have this disabled, as I wish to maintain the stability of my system seeing as how some plugins/code are still new and/or experimental. For this reason, I import and update each season 'manually' in this way.

I should mention - I am using 0.4b.

Well, the enable /disable checkboxes in the import paths are just a way to include or not paths to be scanned.
So what you are describing is not indeed the initial intent

I kinda see what you're requesting; I believe that if I put an option somewhere that tells "don't remove local reference if the local file isn't find when scanning" it's going to do what you are waiting for, right?

You're not using the right plugin. SgmlReaderDLL is a dll that was use by the older version of the plugin.
Go check the 1st post for a link. (and pay attention next time )
