    Odd. Had to go to Netflix a few tim,es before it prompted me to install Silverlite. It runs now, just the remote doesn't control anything.

    Yea, I know Ixian had issues with the remote functions on Windows 7. He tried compling the AutoHotKey script with no luck...

    Hey Wile!

    Excellent work as always my friend. You have done an amazing job on this! I can't believe how much this plug-in has matured in such a short amount of time!!

    Playing the devil's advocate as usual...
    I downloaded the .msi, installed and checked the "Configure Now" option at the end of the installation. The window opened, I reviewed the settings and received an error when trying to save and close. It's too much to list here so here is the link: pastebin - collaborative debugging tool

    Turns out this just totally borked everything. I searched for and deleted all files relating to the plug-in, reinstalled and everything went smooth as silk.

    Just FYI =)

    Thanks again for everything!!

    Hey Techlife,
    Thanks again for the feedback!

    In regards to your issue, I think if you delete your MyNetFlix Database and re-configure, you should be fine. There are a few fields missing in the old database (which your error refers to a missing field.)

    :D

    After this happened, I deleted the Netflix database & tried to reinstall which is what completely borked everything. It wouldn't even install at this point...

    EDIT: After reading more closely, this was entirely my fault. I missed the 0.5.0a part in the instructions. I had 0.5.0 on the laptop. >.<

    Anyway, as I said before, after deleting everything related to the plug-in, removing it from the installer list & reinstalling, all went smooth as silk...

    Thanks Again!!

    rut row... help please

    Looking forward to using this great plug-in. I downloaded the 5/29 RC1 MPI and did the following:
    "Delete database" I had .35 installed so I opened MP config, user files, database, and deleted the netflix db file
    I then opened the MP plugin installer window under plug-ins and install, pointed to the mpi and got this error
    see attached file...
    Soooo when I now try to select "remove" or reinstall the netflix icon in the MP config plugins section i get a "invalid package error"

    Please list what files and settings I need to delete to properly remove 0.35 and this failed install of RC1
    and then how to properly get this set up. The install readme is great but seems to speak to the old install of just coping the files in to the MP directory... thanks for all your work on this plug-in I am sure I just took the wrong folk in the road on this upgrade.
    Thanks!

    Hey Winterescape & Killdashnine,
    Try this... Go to Start->Team MediaPortal-> Mediaportal->MediaPortal Plugins-Skins Installer->Extension Manger

    Try to uninstall/install from there. The reason it cannot uninstall is because one of the Dll's is in use (This may be because the MediaPortal Configuration is open.)

    Let me know if that doesnt work.

    Wile E.

    Edit: What happens if you double click on the MPI file from Windows Explorer?

    Success!!!!
    If I dbl click the mpi i get the windows dialog to "please associate a program with this extension dialog box"
    I did not browse for a program cause I was not sure what to launch it with.

    When I
    Go to Start->Team MediaPortal-> Mediaportal->MediaPortal Plugins-Skins Installer->Extension Installer
    your plugin was listed as an option and it said "allready installed" but I reinstalled and it now launches!

    Thanks for your help and for writing this app!!!

    Has anyone gotten this to work with the Black&White 1080p skin? I was trying it out, nice skin, but there are no skinfiles for this plugin and I can't seem to add it to basichome either (no hyperlink id). Will it even work?
